Fallopian Tube Blockage Treatment
The Fallopian Tubes are very thin tubes; these carry matured egg from ovaries to Uterus. They are of most importance in fertilization process. Fertilization takes place when eggs are traveled through Fallopian Tubes on their way to Uterus. So if Fallopian Tubes are blocked, eggs cannot reach to the uterus. Single tubal blockage as well as both tubes blockage is equally fatal. Obstruction ofFallopian Tubes is one of the major causes of infertility. In 25% of cases of Female Infertility, it is caused by the blocked fallopian tubes. We can diagnose and treat Fallopian Tubesobstruction at Sakthi Fertility Udumalpet, Coimbatore, and Tamilnadu.
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID):

Surgery
Complications due to surgeries that are the uterus and fallopian tubes like a C-section, abortion, family planning, etc., can affect the tube and block the tube.
Fibroids
It may affect the Fallopian Tubes thus causing a blockage in the path of eggs or sperm. Endometriosis: Instead of during menstruation, if you are experiencing endometriosis i.e. the endometrial cells are found outside the womb, it can causes a blockage. The scars and adhesion that are created the endometrial tissue can place physical pressure, formed an obstruction in fallopian tubes. This can affect the normal process of egg released from the ovary.
Infections
Sometimes Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) like chlamydia and gonorrhea or any infection caused by an abortion or miscarriage. Appendicitis or Peritonitis also can cause a blockage in the tubes.
Ruptured Appendix
whena woman has a history of a Ruptured Appendix, there is a chance that the infection can affect the Fallopian Tubes to blockage.

Hysterosalpingogram:
Another evaluative method is HSG. Blocked tubes are usually diagnosed with a specialized x-ray, called a Hysterosalpingogram, or HSG. This test involves placing a dye through the cervix, using a thin tube. Once the dye has been given, your health care provider will take x-rays of your pelvic area.
Laparoscopy:
The fertility specialist will go for laparoscopy or key-hole surgery, a surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia, saying it involves making a small incision into the a woman's umbilicus or navel and inserting a thin viewing device to examine the Fallopian Tubes, ovaries and inner lining of the uterus. This is another method to determine the tubal blockage.
Laparoscopic surgery:
The solution is tubal surgery. It can open blocked tubes or remove scar tissue that is causing problems. However, surgery is invasive and has several possible side-effects, one of the most common one being the risk of developing Ectopic Pregnancies. This treatment doesn't always work. The chance of success depends upon the age group.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF):
This helps to treat the Blocked Fallopian Tube.It involves collecting matured eggs from a woman, fertilizing them with a man's sperm in a dish in a lab, and then transferring the embryos into the uterus after fertilization. IVF is the most effective assisted reproductive technology. An IVF cycle takes a several weeks and requires frequent blood tests and daily hormone injections. Most women's suffer from Blocked Fallopian Tubes, so choose IVF instead of surgery. IVF is safe and effective compared to surgery.
